I'm kicking back. Cut the grass, take a nap. Worked an oval and a drag race in Indy last weekend, going to be in Joliet for training next weekend, on the road about every other weekend until September.

Yep, gonna take a nap!! Good luck to all.

It will be interesting to see what the stats will look like when this years are awarded. Given the changes to the guidance allowing two apps, multiple vehicles and allowing agencies that have previously been awarded vehicles to submit again.

The submit button was hit like the "Deal or No Deal" show. Too late to turn back now, so it's time for a cold beverage...

Let's see South Carolina, Jack Dnaiels, plowing in food plots,Jack Daniels, tracking down the criminal that broke into my trailer and stole my ATV, Jack Daniels, possibly digging a grave, Jack Daniels, burying that SOB, Jack Daniels not necessarily in that order. Someone up there is fixing to find out why my nickname is Hammerhead!

The chief and I worked out the minor changes this moring and we submitted it. By 1:00 pm this afternoon I was working for PAYING clients - for time since this past Tuesday.

Oh the benefit of being self employed.

For the weekend not really sure yet.

Well guys here it is. Our chance to return a favor to a man that has given his skills for us. I say we all get together in South Carolina, put on some camoflauge, throw a bottle of your favorite brew,(JackDaniels, Hank's Birch Beer, Diet Mug Root Beer, etc) and put on a SOB w/ATV drive and help Kurt bury that sucker. I hope the ATV has a plow to fill the hole back over!! This is the least we could do for you Kurt after this past year. Good luck this weekend Kurt. Good luck to all of you. If you see an award for Alum Bank, PA, pass the credit on to Kurt

A weekend of relaxation and not thinking about the AFG. Today, mow the lawn, play in my garage/shop, drink beer (pager off). Tomorrow is the fire dept's annual bullhead feed, then the annual after party at a friend's house with a cook out and lots of beer.

I gotta work 24 on Sat. Plan on going on a motorcycle ride on Sun. if the weather in southern IN is fit for a ride. Might even go to the casino in French Lick on my bike. Indiana is a funny state.... we have South Bend up north, North Vernon in the south, and French Lick aint what it sounds like!!!!

Bullheads? If they are what I think they are, here in New England they are called "hornedpouts". The have no horns, not are they pouting...

We do about 1000# in 3-4 hours. It's served all you can eat with coleslaw, macaroni salad, baked beans and a roll. The department has been doing this since about 1948 (oldest mention we can find in the records). It's always the first Sunday in May, so if you are ever in NNY stop by.

Either you were in the wrong place or you didn't take enough money.

For those wondering what happened in SC. I got the food plots done, didn't drink any at all since the SOB also stole my Jack Daniels and my beer. I put up a $500 reward and put a copy in everyones mail box and have had two phone calls already ( amazing how a little loose change will loosen up lips, even if he is your cousin). Found out the Sheriff's Office had not even processed the crime scene yet ( 1 week later) so went and had a heart to heart with him and told him if he didn't wnat to work a homocide crime scene he had better light a fire under some people's butts and do something. I also threatened to hold a press conference with local TV station right on his front steps about his department's incompetence if he didn't do something. He sent CSI, 2 investigators and a Capt and himself personally out there and they processed for four hours and turned up empty beer bottles in the woods behind my house with my fingerprints and a perps prints on them ( which meant he had to have been in my refrigerator) and DNA from that sucker wrapping his lips aorund my brewskis, hopefully. Also got latent figerprints from inside the house. I found out who the little hooligan was and that he took the bike to his cousins house in the woods about 600 yards from my house and I even heard my 4 wheeler start up and drive off out there. Sheriff's office was obtaining search warrant when I left Monday evening. Hammerhead circles his prey and take a bite out of crime! I don't get mad, I get even! Stay tuned for the trial!

I must have been snoozing...I missed the B&E part. Well I'm game if you need a hand digging the hole...but sounds as though you have it well under control.
