    Default Expat from Texas

CC Tex Native in South Carolina. Okay Fellas-- My truck license tag is NTV TXN - I am holding my own up here. 'Cept they claim the "South". No problem -Texans are Southwestern. I trust my fellow FF's when we go in. I think they feel the same about me. They just don't get Texas. Got any ideas?

That's right. They do know how to cook a pig though. The best I can do is a brisket/beef ribs on a Weber Kettle. As for roads-- in my neck of the woods any road that is straight for more than 300 ft. is a "drag road". You get three feet from the asphault edge and a foot thick or bigger Oak is waiting. On the bright side though I miss fishing the Padre Island Coast, I stand a good chance of hitting a 200 lb + buck or even an airborn turkey in mid flight. Makes for interesting call response at 2:00 a.m. ( the turkeys are out during the day ). We are missing out on real enchiladas not to mention tamales at Christmas. Gotta admit there is something in the water here as the " scenery " is not too bad. But Texas ladies rule. Gas is $2.65 for reg.
