I thought i had seen every thing kansas can throw at us. 7 days straight of rain!!!!!!! The radar right now is very depressing. Thunderstorm after thunderstrom after thunderstorm right in line for Kansas City.
last month the sump pump blew up and flooded the basement.
again I have water in the basement that wont stop and I need to rip the drywall down to find the leak in the foundation.
What a buzzkill!!!!!!!!

If I give you the packing peanuts, can you box the water up and send it to us? The most we got was a hard rain here in central Georgia, and it lasted all of 8 minutes. I don't think south Georgia or Florida got a drop. The devil went down to Georgia, and we can't get him to leave. Even the swamp is burning.

That same area of the state got pounded again sat. and sunday. Then we got it last night, without the Tornados (thank god). Will probably have to deal with flooding the way it is going. That is not as bad as the farmers losing their corn and wheat crops to a late hard freeze. I think we can safely say the drought for the last couple of years is over.
I would be glad to send some of this rain to Georgia. I know it would help with their large fire that is still going on.

Just talked with a B/C from an area department that got back from Greensburg this am and it is not good. 37 still missing, 9 of them children. 2 Deputies killed. Two fire stations destroyed (Greensburg and one Elk County) along with all of the equipment.
My prayers and thoughts to all out in that area.
