Cincinnati Police Officer's Blood-Alcohol Level Tested .08

AURORA, Ind. -- A Cincinnati police officer was jailed Thursday morning, charged with driving while intoxicated.
Charles Bebee, 53, was arrested in Aurora, Ind., around 11:30 p.m. Wednesday.
A police report stated that an officer spotted a sport utility vehicle moving at a high rate of speed, then a car behind the SUV stopped to tell the officer that the driver of the SUV was going to cause an accident.
The officer followed the SUV for some time before pulling it over for doing 55 in a 35 mph zone.
The report said the officer gave a field sobriety test to Bebee, who failed it. The report said Bebee consented to a chemical test, where his blood-alcohol level was determined to be .08 percent.
Police said that Bebee was charged with operating a vehicle while intoxicated and operating while intoxicated with a blood alcohol content of .08 or higher.
Mothers Against Drunk Driving presented Bebee with a Top Cop award earlier this year.
Cincinnati police said Beebe would be assigned to desk duty, with police powers suspended, pending the outcome of his court case.

No ***** !!!! Imagine that.
Do as I say, not as I do. And really, that is the way most law enforcement is. They speed, they wear no seat belts, they break numerous laws, all because of a special privildge

You post out some of the stupidist crap of any one I know. That IS NOT they way most LEO officers are. Just because one officer makes a fatal career mistake does not make MOST LEO that way. Come up with facts before opening your mouth. Your statement would be like saying if one firefighter made a mistake then most of them must be that way. I have arrested officers for this very same thing, BUT that did not mean his fellow officers, or MOST of the other officers that I knew did this. Grant you will have a small MINORITY of officers, just like firefighters that will break the law, BUT, THAT IS NOT MOST.
There I just broke my own law, which was never, ever to reply to anything you had to say/post.

And we should feel pitty why? You make your bed, you gotta lay in it. Maybe he should of thought of that before he got in the car. Sorry, I have no sympathy at all for people like this.
EXACTLY!!!!
Sure it is funny when someone self destructs in such irony. It's his own fault and he deserves everything that comes to him.

Just another case of he/she ____(fill in your public servant of choice)____ was breaking the law. If it was joe blow it would never make the news, it would be just another drunk. To hell with all the good choices he/she has made in his career. Lets never publish the good things that public servants do. I could give three ****s less who the person is. Does it make a difference in the prosecution or defense? It should not, but in some parts od the country you can bet your rosie red butt it does.
