    Default Training Division...Help!!!

I am in a department that is growing rapidly – 50% growth in 5 years. About 100 fire fighter/EMTs and Paramedics, 50 part-time (paid-on-call) fire fighters, 12 E9-1-1 dispatchers. I am the lone member in OHS & Training Division.

I am now gathering information from various departments to help us determine what options are open to us and how efficient and effective these models can be.

Within these options, I would be interested in the training hierarchy of your department, as well as how the training is organized, delivered and managed, and any of the weaknesses or strengths you may have observed in your system.

    Go ahead…I’m listening.
