Diving Inventory
How do you keep up with your inventory of dive gear, inspections, maintenance receipts, etc. Is there a program out there or are you making spreadsheet after spreadsheet to keep up with the daily dive log. Just keeping up with the AGA mask service and regulator inspections not to mention the BCD's, hoses, dry suits leads to tons of paperwork.
For instance:Do you have a check off sheet to document the function testing of your FFM regulators? Equipment records are proof of an ongoing inspection and maintenance program. Should an "incident" happen who and what will be the first thing that OSHA looks for. Do any of you PSD service tech's have a dive locker log? Thanks for any ideas.

We have a weekly checkout sheet for the dive gear going on our heavy rescue. I made it in Word in about 40 minutes. The equipment will be inspected weekly once it get on the rescue. The sheet also serves as an inventory to help replace equipment used at an incident.
As for equipment maintenance, the dive shop we use keeps track of all regulator, tank and BCD service. (in an excel spreadsheet)
