Pardon me, sir, but we are all over here.

I really wish there was some way I could post the audio from the dispatch. I know it has brightened many a dreary day.

DJ, if I asked, our dispatch center would give it to my as a .wav file. But I don't want to get the dispatcher in trouble by asking for the audio. I saved it off of my pager onto my Nextel.

Hmm...gotta do some research on how Nextel phones record that stuff. If you can send it to me as a text message or picture message that may work. I'll look into it and see what I can come up with! I really want to hear this stuff!!

From what I understand, it was quite a lengthy and complicated rescue. Are we to assume that HFD doesn't really know much about...err...felines?

All I can say is every department in DeKalb County was sitting around in their turnout gear hoping for a mutual aide call...

I was prepared to call MABAS Box #91 (that's our Tech Rescue Box), but Capt Herrmann had things in hand before I could respond from Waterman. That also explains the lack of pictures.

I honestly haven't had time to look at the other thread to get all the details, but ask DJ about one of his first "rescues" - no "recoveries" - that he and Miranda made.

    Remember that, Doug?

Chief: "Dekalb County from Hinckley Kitty Command"

    Dispatch: "Kitty Command, go ahead"

Chief: "Kitty Command requesting a high angle rescue squad and...and an emergency medical veterinary technician to the scene"...

    Jay:
I think that you could have used your 56 degree wedge and a Titleist Pro V1 to get the cat out of the tree.
There you go; I just let the cat out of the bag.
