Hi guys
how are you all?
i am a 22 bloke (man) form australia. i am keenly into Firefighting and hope to become a firefighter one day. for the moment i am studying Engineering (Civil) and i am hopeing to be accepted into the Rural Fire Service (RFS)
which is a vollenteer based Rural frefighting service.
i have to submit my application from tomorow, and hopefuly i will pass my physical and interveiw.
hope i am welcome here even though i am not a firefighter yet
looking forward to discusions and learning about firefighting

G'day, when you say you want to join the RFS- which state? i am an auxiliary (paid on call/retained) and an RFS vollie in Queensland. if you have any questions feel free to ask. Forum or pm.

Goodluck with getting into the RFS, you should really enjoy your time their, its a great starting ground for experience and knowledge if you ever want to take the step to fulltime.

as for going full time, that is really my intention. Just gota get into the training. as i’m sure you all know its very competitive, but i’m a stubborn guy, so when the recruitment comes ill just apply every time!
