    Default Any experience with the Barbolight U-04?

    Just curious, I know its used in Spain. Its supposedly the only metal flashlight approved for firefighting. (I don't know who approved it?) Still, I was just wondering if anyone had any experience with it.

    No personal experience with that light, but looking at it on the web, it looks very similar to the Surefire lights sold in the US

    Thanks, I have a few Surefire lights. I know the company that makes the barbolight has heavily been promoting it as a firefighter light. I didn't know if anyone had any experience with it in on scene.

    I'm afraid I can't help you with on-scene experience. But I can tell you who approved it - that was UL Denmark, in accordance with EC regulations. See http://www.barbolight.nl/nl/gallery.html.
