It is the first 81' Kme aerialcat sold in New Jersey. There are other 95' & 100 ' Kme tower ladders in service at departments around the state!

Maybe no tank so they can just use the truck as a truck but bosst there pressure when using the aerial master stream. This way there is no chance of being used as an engine. Also this eliminates putting a pumper with 300 ft. of the truck when using the MS.

I dont have a cost, but can find out, I have a few friends there. As for the lack of a pump you are correct. They use the truck as a truck. They have 2 pumpers and a tandem axle pumper-tanker. They also aquired an ex-airport crash rig from Teterboro Airport which they cover.

They had a 85' Peter Pirch Midmount stick, so maybe a longer truck won't fit into there apparatus bay. The cost difference is about $ 30,000 .

If it was a Pierce it would be on a three axle rear end and have a permanent sling attached to the front for a wrecker.

But that aside, nice rig. A number of departments buy tower ladders with pumps but without tanks.
Stay low and move it in.

    Be safe.

Wait, do I see a potential coincidence here? 807 can't spell and bashes KME and 2101 does the same. Hmmm....

What is that comment supposed to mean anyway? Have you had a bad experience?
