possible DOD job at NAS Jacksonville

Just wondering if anyone has worked with DOD Fire at NAS Jacksonville FL. I just found out i might be getting picked up there and wanted to hear the scoop about that place before I decide to move over there. Or even just some good info on the surrounding area, like where is a good place to look at housing in the surrounding area? Thanks

If this is your first DOD Fire job offer, you better take it. You can always put your time in and transfer to another base down the road. Once you get your foot in the door along with the basic certs, moving closer to home is pretty easy. Go to Florida and have fun with it.
