Default Locking Threads over a year or so

Why not lock threads over a year or so old so it doesn't show up in the new post when someone is answering a 6 year old post. Very Annoying.

And also, is there a RSS feed for this site?

I believe that some of these threads need to be raised from the dead from time to time. People just need to get into the habit of looking at the date of the last post before jumping in. Just my opinion!!!
Just someone trying to help! (And by the way....Thanks for YOUR help!)

Aggressive does not have to equal stupid.

    Information about RSS Feeds:

"People just need to get into the habit of looking at the date of the last post before jumping in." Exactly. If they still wish to post/discuss a very old thread that is their prerogative.

I would rather see old threads brought back up instead of posting 100 more on the same topic.

    Me too!

With the added bonus that all the history and background are right there in the original thread, so it only makes sense to post an update to that thread instead of starting a new one where nobody knows what the whole story is.

Am I missing where the RSS feeds for the forums are? I think these are all news type items?

Sorry maybe I am missing it.
