The new front mounting positions of exterior cab mirrors look horrible. The ones than hang down from the top of the cab makes a truck look like a grasshopper. How are they functionally? Do they block forward view very much?

While they make look wierd from the exterior, once you use them, you'll find them extremely functional. There are actually three different mirrors in each housing, providing all of the normal views, plus additional views in front of the vehicle.
Remember that the school bus industry has been using them for many years with great luck.

Three views? How about we design the rig so you CAN look out the front and put a plain glass and a "fisheye"on each side?That way I can see what I WANT to see without any of the other images that I don't want to.Too many years of using simple tools to enjot the "new and improved".And NO they will never "grow on me". T.C.
