I have been developing a website project that I think we all can benefit from with a little help from you the end user. This website is still currently in Beta 1.0 testing but is for the most part very stable.
Seeing that we as I.T. professionals keep the technology world spinning, we should have a voice to be heard to meet our every I.T. needs. Although the users groups are very useful to target a specific group of people, a website based on the different products, software, and accessories we use along with visuals and downloads as a sole source of information is a necessity. Browsing the web daily for drivers and documentation can be such a hassle, why not centralize our daily needs into one location.
Well here is our chance to open up and take advantage of exactly that. A website developed for police, fire, and ems I.T. professionals working for local, federal and state agencies. A website where you the user and I.T. professional can grow and learn a wealth of knowledge in an I.T. professional community. Here you will be able to submit downloads, documentation, news, upload images, browse products that other agencies are using and comment on them, submit calendar events, and even search jobs through Career Builder.
Take a look, give us feedback, or even start posting at www.e911it.com.
