That's how I felt when this speech was given on the floor of the House of Repersentatives. Yet no one called this man a traitor or howled about how he was damaging troop morale.

Then-House Majority Whip Tom Delay (R-TX):
“Mr. Speaker, this is a very difficult speech for me to give, because I normally, and I still do, support our military and the fine work that they are doing. But I cannot support a failed foreign policy. … But before we get deeper embroiled into this Balkan quagmire, I think that an assessment has to be made of the Kosovo policy so far. President Clinton has never explained to the American people why he was involving the U.S. military in a civil war in a sovereign nation, other than to say it is for humanitarian reasons, a new military/foreign policy precedent. … Was it worth it to stay in Vietnam to save face? What good has been accomplished so far? Absolutely nothing.”

You should SUPPORT that speech!!!. However, You're wrong about it...He stated" I support the troops!!! He showed "feeling in his speech" You show hatred for your nation.
If you are starting to defend rosie..WOW...Unbelievable.
I dont have a problem with folks disagreeing with Bush or his policy...Its your absolute vile disrespect for the military and our leaders that upsets millions.
I will say so though..Hussein killed more folks than milosovic. He also DID NOT "attact the U.S." Since it was a liberal president at the time though...Its ok.

Once again I ask. when have I ever shown more disrespect for the military? Delay stated he supported the troops (as do I) but didn't support the President or policy (as do I). Please point me to where I have shown "absolute vile disrespect for the military." The leadership of the President I will admit I disagree with wholeheartedly, just like Delay.

That is but one quote of a similar theme. I have dozens of other quotes from conservatives who were critical of the President while there were troops in harms way.

Once again, you make claims that are non-existent and claim the high ground of patriotism when it suits you.

And once again. We were involved in the Balkans under treaty with NATO. BTW. Could you refresh my memory on how many troops died unseating Milosevic. And I could care less how about many people he or Hussein killed. They were/are both despots.

I agree 1000%. We should bring all of our troops home and stop sticking our noses in other peopels business. We could then take all of those troops and deploy them along the borders so they could defend our nation and keep the illegals out.
