Grants coordinator? Do you have to have that title to get the money, I can get cards printed up for about $20 if that helps.

Wow, I guess I'll submit for my stipend to the Chief next week. How far do you get on $0?

Maybe, if they paid them $100,000, they would have done an electronic version, the preferred method or an incentive to read the document closely on the process.

Wow, no kidding! Why not just use the $80k per year to purchase what is needed? Hard time justifying that in the narrative I would think, that one can afford to employ a grant writer for $80k/year, but can't purchase what is needed

I'll go back to my minimally paying full time job now, so that I can afford to write my department's grants for free

It kind of sounds to me like it is a grant coordinator for the entire city.

That's how I took it, grant coordinator for the entire city/town. Interesting that it has a salary that is not tied into performance. Most of these positions that I have seen advertised base the compensation on what the particular grant will pay for services.

If any one is interested here's a grant writer position available.

    Grant Writer, Town of Upton
    Grant Writer
    Town of Upton
The town of Upton is seeking the services of a professional Grant Writer to apply for grants that may be available to Upton through both state and federal programs. The successful Grant Writer would initially be compensated for services rendered as part of and/or included in the grant application/funding request. The compensation and/or percentage earned for future grants would be determined by the individual grants awarded, the size of the award, any matching funds required, and if compensation for the Grant Writer is allowed within the grant application/award. The Board of Selectmen is the Awarding Authority and will finalize any agreements entered into with the Grant Writer. Interested persons may submit letters clearly marked (Grant Writer Proposal) including resume, references, and past grant award successes to the Board of Selectmen P.O. Box 479 Upton, MA 01568, Attention J.R.Bates by June 15, 2007. AA/EOE (posted5/21, exp. 6/15)

Default Where are the Fire Prevention "you suck" letters???

I am wondering if there is going to be more than one round of the letters telling us that we did not make the cut? I understand that some people have been cut already, I wonder how many times that will happen?
