My condolences to the Middleton family and the Boston Fire Department of Massachusetts. FireFighter David Middleton, 38, a 10 year veteran of the Boston Fire Department assigned to Engine 51, died Monday May 28, 2007. David had worked to fires during his shift and had complained of not feeling well at the second fire. Later that evening, while at home, he suffered a heart attack. His brother firefighters from Ladder 23 and paramedics struggled to keep him alive, and transported him to Boston Medical Center where he passed away shortly after.
