Hey guys and gals. I am a paid firefighter and my daughter and I both run as volunteers in our home town. Well, my daughter had her senior pictures done with her in turnout gear. Several folks have said that we should submit her picture into a calendar for firefighters. Does anyone know where I would even begin to find such a calendar?

Well................
One idea? Try a calender as a fund raising thing for your VFD. You'll need about a dozen more photos, but they can be Station, apparatus, other members, etc. A station here in Md. has a Calendar each year.

Got a link to the pics Chief?
While researching old photos for our book, we came across a shot of about a dozen young ladies in bathing suits (and bunker booots
) standing on our original pumper holding a banner advertising a fish fry for the volly's. Dont know why, but I just dont see that being done today.

Maybe.............
Someone did a couple of photos that ended up on www.pumpfire.com but we're not taking credit for it since they're not our members, (neighboring company) nor was the photographer. The proceeds from the Calendar go to support a couple of Hospital Burn Units, so it's a good cause.
I don't have a link, but look up the Kent Island VFD (Md) they've had a Guys Calendar for years. Too long a story for this post, but it's unique.Last edited by hwoods; 06-03-2007 at 08:41 PM.

Great way to raise some money. Were almost finished with a 2 year project on a school year book-type book for my FD. The county Fire Chiefs Assoc did the same thing about 10 years ago, with photos from all 17 county FDs.
