Hey everyone,
My names Jim Im in the active duty US Army and I deploy to Iraq in aug.
Im planning ahead trying to do my best to ensure I can join either Boston or Cambridge Fire departments when i get out in 2 years. So far I signed up for the PAYS (partnership for youth success) program for Cambridge Fire while enlisting in the army about a year ago and I was wondering what else I can do,
I know Veterans get alot of extra points on the exam, so I have that under my belt. As far as residence I am a no go.
Does anyone have some information on what I can do, and what kind of shot I have as of now.
Thanks for all your service guys and be safe.
