I have been a Certified FF/EMT for quite some time now. I did not realize getting into this field that 80% of the country was based on a volunteer basis. Respectively, the job market for certifed personnel continues to suffer. Does anyone have any suggestions what other careers are out there were my firefighter and emt skills can be used or maybe another career that can spin off of my education that I have obtained.
