i did not even take the nj civil service test because i do not live anywhere near a town with a career dept, not even in the same county. some would call where i live the "boon docks" and for good reason. that being said does ANYONE know if and when any of the handful of municipalities that do not go by the state civil service test will giving there tests. i took the cherry hill test a couple of months ago and got a pretty good score but i know they are giving a test again at the end of next year. also i am looking for any per diem jobs. i know there are small combi depts here and there that hire per diem based on qualifications not skin color or or military service. any info on either of these would be greatly appreciated.
