I just recently started trading fire department patches, with the goal of creating a beautiful bar with all patches permanently preserved under a layer of epoxy. As for now, I only have gotten four patch trades, and would like a lot more. I am looking for any fire department anywhere in the world. I would really like some Alaskan patches, or from other countries, but would love any. I will be trading for my fire departments patch, new unissued condition. If you can help me out, please email me at firstname.lastname@example.org and I will send out one of my patches right away to get the trade under way. Thanks for anyone that can help me out.

Patch trades wanted!

Most departments do not give out patches any longer. They are very costly to begin with and once you give one out, the department does not have any control on how the patch is used. You may in fact display it proudly on a board, but there are some who will sew in on a shirt or jacket and impersonate a firefighter from that department.

Jbob..if if you ever get the chance, go to Firehouse Expo in Baltimore. There always at least 2 booths that are strictly for trading patches."If people concentrated on the really important things in life, there'd be a shortage of fishing poles."
