Does anyone have a Excel file that they are willing to share or that they have used to put together a frictionloss/pump pressure style chart? I am gathering all of the flow ratings, Friction loss figures for our current hose, water system figures, etc for our response area. I'm just looking for some examples of laying out the chart. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

Looks like I did!....Thanks Bro....repairs underway!!!
OK. I just redid the whole darn thing. A few sloppy mistakes had some of the numbers pretty out of wack! Must have made this thing after a few beers. Good thing I quit drinking!
Numbers are rounded up or down based to the nearest 5 PSI. This is nothing more than a generic GUIDE. Different hose has different characteristics. But you get the point.
Sorry bout that.Last edited by MG3610; 07-07-2007 at 11:12 PM.

Always a critic in every crowd!!
I expected no less from some here...But since I know it is the most beautiful engine in the entire world I am not bothered in the least!!
By the way we did talk about putting one 888 in the center above the grill just below the windshield.

If anyone wants to share theirs on the web, I can host them on my site, or on my department's site. If anyone is willing to share with the world, shoot them to me in an email.

Reliving old threads... Can you be so kind as to shoot me off a copy of that as well please?

Everything I state on here is to support and aid my fellow firefighters. Everything I post is my opinion only, and in no way should be taken as an official opinion of any Company, Department, or Municipality I represent... oh and this includes Pierce Mfg, as so their legal department has advised me; since they apparently also invented the right to control "Free Speech".

I would like a copy of the chart also for my department so that our officers and our ado recruits and our only engineer can have a copy to use as a guide.

Bump...Could some people send me their charts...I'm going to laminate them and put them in the compartment near the pump panel, but I'd like a few different ones so I can select the best ones. PM me and I'll send you my email.
