    Default Resurrection of old threads...

I think we are going to have to come up with a name for this phenomenon of old threads coming back to life.

I like "the Lazarus effect"... or Oh no! Not this crap again!

Can we add "The Weruj Effect".

He was always big on reminding everyone to search an old thread as opposed to starting a new one.

I went with "Not this crap again". You coulda called it the Frankenstein Effect, but that would involve taking parts of several old threads and making something new..... Hummmm, could you imagine mixing some of Trollhorse's wisdom with..... ummm, nevermind I'm starting to scare myself.

How about, "I guess some people never learn" of course that doesn't apply to new people. Then again, a little refresher never hurt anyone.

Put me down for "The Lazarus Effect". Sounds kind of catchy

You're right! Not a clue LOL.

I like the idea Bones came up with ... naming it after Joshie .... Rujii or Weruj, either works for me.

I definitely DON'T like the "oh no not this crap again" because it is way too similar to Artie's favourite picture, the "geez, not this ***** again" one.

I didn't vote, but I think I will after I submit this post. Going to vote for the "huh, duh what?" one because I think it more accurately describes both the state of confusion of the people reading a resurrected thread and the person who bumped it, if done unknowingly. Doesn't count if the bumper KNEW they were resurrecting an old thread.

I vote against naming it after Weruj in anyway. The threads he brings back are always on purpose and either educational or funny. But there is a point to them.

While most everyone else (I SAID MOST) who brings back an old post is a FNG who doesn't know or doesn't care that the thread they are posting in is several years old. And the thread is 9 out of ten times pointless to start with.

    I definitely agree with Dickey.

I will reserve my vote until I am brought up to speed on Lazrus....
