    Question Big D by Pelican

Anyone using the Big D by Pelican ? Looking for a new light (yes I did a search for previous posts) and saw alot of posts reporting problems with the Vulcan light. Can anyone recommend the Big D or something else they are using that is similar ( heavy duty, bright light that can be slung over shoulder with strap) ?

    Thanks.

Why not go for a Streamlight FireBox or LightBox? They are both cheaper.

I like anything by Pelican. Great products and the warranty is awesome. They stand behind their products.

While vacationing in Mazatlan, Mexico, I did see a pelican take a big "D" on the beach....

Pelican makes the Big D three ways. Alkaline, NiCad or Lead acid battery systems, The NiCad is more. The other two are the same or less. Can't beat the warranty anyhow.

Alot of the other posts I found when I did a search indicated that the bulbs on the Vulcan are prone to falling out, also many reports of battery charging issues.
