Indefinlty delayed from what I heard. Expect it to open after FP&S application period is open and closed. I expect to see it open in September sometime.

When is the FP&S application period opening?? Way before October, I hope. I know that's a huge issue with fire prevention folks since they're usually wrapped up in planning and doing events September/October. Not a good time to throw a grant application into the mix. Then again, if they're smart, they're doing their prelim "draft" NOW.

DianeC unoffcial rumor is pretty much saying look for an August opening of FP&S, September peer review, awards to be released to coincide with National FP week in Oct. Agressive schedule but really does make more sense to have the awards coincide with FP week, not six months later.
