    Default Great news

Well, we had our officer elections today and guess who was voted in as asst. chief.

I served as a lt. from 1988-1995 and then captain from 1995-1999 when I decided to take a break from being an officer. A few of the members talked me into putting my name on the ballot for Asst. chief and here I am!

I'm pretty excited about it actually.

Remember that while there's plenty of ways to impress YOUR boss, there's only one way to impress the troops:know your job.
That's just the words of an underling.
Also, when you get the new lid, make sure to glue the "T" on permenantly to avoid pranks.
    Good luck with it.

Congrats, now that the party is over, as stated know your job and watch out for all your people. The only complaint I really have with this position is when they run a call and I'm not around. I worry and worry about them! They all know there jobs and perform well even though I'm not there, but I just worry sick about them. You'll know what I mean after awhile.

Perhaps we can form a support group known as "officer's anonymous"
