I learned the Denver Drill during a Saving Our Own class. I was amazed! Especially when we had a female FF that I promise you is about 4' 10" and weighed 85lbs be the number 2 person on the bottom. At her request, she wanted to prove herself, the victim was not a little fellow. With the three working together as a team they got the victim out just as quick as any of the other teams.
They showed us how to use the high point and a ladder also.
We have a prop at one of our stations...think I will drill the guys on this Monday night.
STAY SAFE!

The success of a fire department depends on the willingness of its members to put aside their differences and work for the benefit of the dept/community.

We recently drilled on using an aerial as a high point. Equally as interesting, and makes it easier to get a ff out of the center of a large occupancy/commercail structure.
