    Angry Station destroyed

One of Pope County's fire stations near Dixon Springs was destroyed by fire Wednesday morning. The cause is suspected arson as a 4-wheeler appears to have been stolen.

Told my wife I'm at work. Told my boss I'm sick. I'm really at the fire station.

I feel like a broken record, but have to ask....

was there ANY type of alarm/protection system in place protecting that million dollars worth of equipment?

The article does not mention either way.

Bones, I don't know. It's a little too far away from me to know much about the circumstances other than what I've read or seen in the news.

Pope county is not far from us, and I am quite sure the answer is no, Infact I would bet a majority of fire departments nation wide do not have. Many departments have a hard enough time getting money for equipment alone.
