I live in southern california and im considering trying to become a volunteer but im unsure how to go about it or what to expect. Are there any certificates i should have. I just became CPR certified and i am currently enrolled in my EMT class and i have already taken an Intro to Fire Tech. class and a fire prevention class, do i need anything else? Do they train you or do you have to go through school first? I am also curious where i would apply and if there is any sort of testing or anything like that. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.
