    Question DCFD RIT teams

    Does the DCFD use the Truck Co. assigned on a Working fire dispatch as a RIT team?

    YES, 1st ENGINE & TRUCK CO. DISPATCHED ON THE WORKING FIRE MAKES UP THE RIG.

    I'm slightly confused. So your saying the first in stages as the RIT team rather than attacking the fire?
    Just know, I chose my own fate. I drove by the fork in the road and went straight.

    No...the 5th due Engine on the original Box is there for RIT until the WFD is sounded. Like the post above said, bringing a 6th Engine,3rd Truck and Batt. Chief into the Rapid Intervention Group.
