I just wanted to say thank you to everyone who showed support during our loss of Retired Fire Fighter Leonard Geerts. It just goes to show the character and bond that we all share. I can not speak for our Chief (this was his father) but I know that he was extremely overwhelmed with the support and offerings that our surrounding departments demonstrated. I would thank each department but even I don't fully know how many departments offered their support and I certainly wouldn't want to leave anyone out.

Thanks again to everyone! I can only hope that Albany has the ability/capacity to return the favor when needed.
