I was deleted. Now I am the same as before, confused.

    Any bids on 6 pages?

There were no threads harmed in the killing of this one.

    Default Webteam-does this help?

My posts reflect my views and opinions, not the organization I work for or my IAFF local. Some of which they may not agree. I.A.C.O.J. member

Q: Why would any practical forum moderator delete any active thread?

A: They wouldn't. In general, no thread should ever be deleted. If it contains offensive posts, they should be editted. If the thread is getting out of control, it should be locked. If the whole whole thread is offensive, it should be moved to a staff only holding area. But it shouldn't be deleted.

For anyone who is interested in making this thread "go away" there is a simple solution: Don't reply to it and it will "go away" all by itself..

Now let's see how many more people just can't resist replying and keeping the thread active; both preventing the forum software from sorting it below active threads and also providing more good reason not to delete it...
