    Default Hello from Southern California

Hello everyone! I can see there is lots to learn here and I'm looking forward to learning quite a bit while I'm here!

    A little information about myself...

I just recently moved to Los Angeles to attend CSULA to obtain my BS in Fire Protection Administration. I moved here from Half Moon Bay, which is in Northern California. While I was living there I was able to finish my FF1 academy, as well as my EMT certificate and my all my requirements to earn my Associates in Fire Science.

While I'm down here I plan on working as an EMT while finishing school. I'm also planning on testing with many of the local fire departments in CA so I can gain some experience in the whole testing process. Anyway, I'm beginning to ramble...So I''ll just say thank you to the admins for creating this place and another thank you to all it's members for providing us new guys with your wealth of knowledge from your years in the greatest job on earth! Hopefully some time in the future you will see me posting about landing a job with a Fire Department!
