I would suspect that the next round of DJ's will be midway through the process.....around round 12.

thank you We still have not heard anything on our grant. I mean nothing but we do have scbas on our grant and with everything going on with them maybe we will hear something soon!!

haven't heard anything else after the 10 ?'s or the letter asking if we would accept if they lowered our asking price. I still hope this is a good sign. I am just waiting for another word. Everyone that I have talked to say's it's about 95% a good sign.

Just got in a 1199a update request today but cannot access it. Will call the helpdesk tomorrow. Is this a good thing? We put in for a vehicle this year.

Was the Tuesday posting of 1199a's small? I did not hear much chatter in the forum so I can only assume it was another small post. Anyone care to venture a guess when DHS will open the gates and let some larger announcements roll out? They have a lot of money left to distribute and 3X the number of rounds already announced still ahead.

Actually, some 1199s were released on Monday this week - but you are correct, not alot of talk about them.

I'm still waiting for an announcement from my 1199 update on August 1st.

I was surprised at the lack of chatter myself, I thought it was a good sized one since I found 14 of mine. I expected to see a few other folks posting for joy too.

A lot. When you write nearly 500 this happens. And that's without the seminar folks added in, 300 of those just from Jan/Feb 2007. Who knows how many I'll add to both totals with my schedule for the rest of this year. I think Bristol TN is near the end of the 1st week of December, making another AL/GA/TN go-round if you want to swing in. Like the rest of them, no charge to get in.

Yuppers Kurt....got a busted thumb. Three weeks on the job and 3 days into academy...it sucks...but life goes on...just found out that I'll be headed back to academy in Feb
