Lawrence - 10/2, Salina 10/3, Hays 10/4. I should have exact location info today or tomorrow on my site: www.firegraphics.org/schedule.htm

Beth, less than 1/3 of the dough announced, around half of 1199As are out. Give or take a few.

Well, here we are on Tuesday afternoon and no apparently there have been no 1199a's today. I read someone's post that about half of the 1199a's have been distributed. Ouch. If anyone sees anything move, please don't forget to update the thread. I have checked for an update several times today already to no avail.

    Good luck everyone.

    Default '08 project

I'm thinking next year of putting in a regional grant for the anti-anxiety medications that we all could use for the duration of the grant process. Think it's got a chance?

If you have an old grant, they usually don't ask for a new 1199. Now with the 10 Questions and 1199 on the old grant, all you have to do is wait for the money!

If there are no changes to the 1199A, you do not have to do anything. Once the award has been made, you can make funding requests with the current 1199A.

If there are changes, they can't be done until after the award. At that point you contact the AFG and inform them of changes to be made. They will release the 1199A to make changes (there is a time limit to do this), print out and send in.

    Brian,

Planning on any other seminars in IL or IN this year? I wasn't able to make it to any last year. If you are, then Champaign/Urbana area would be a great place.

Not2L8/Brian, I could live with that and second the motion. We could eat at the Firehaus restaurant afterwards.

Yeah, but can you get a cup of "salt water coffee" there? I'm partial to LaPorte, South Bend or Crown Point, IN. Just 'cuz i don't want to drive anywhere!!

Earl, if you're trying to bribe...brine water is not the way to go. Gift certificates to Enzo's on the other hand...now I might make the trip for that.

Schaumburg outside of Chicago on the 29th I believe is where I'm headed. Maybe more in IL/IN after the 1st of the year, haven't gotten that far ahead. Sitting in a Chili's in the Anchorage Airport right now, nice and free wireless Internet. One more puddle jumper to Valdez for the State Convention tomorrow and then right back home. Sister gets married on Saturday, so have to be in and out. Wish I could wander around a bit.

Schuamburg is probably closer to Earl than I. Although I'm up for a little road trip. Strap the car seat on the back of the bike and I'm there...right Earl
Good luck on the puddle jump and enjoy the wedding!

Congrats fire41108! Now comes all the real work

Earl, I'll second that motion! That is some of the best pasta I have ever eaten!!! All because we read a billboard....and tell Sue that if you don't want to go then I'd be happy to accompany her

Well Brian, looks like I'll see you in Indy on the 30th. I called and signed up today. Going to try and bring a few more from around here but don't know if anyone else will go.

    Sounds like a plan.

Found fine eats here in Orlando last night, Tommy Bahamas is mighty proud of everything they serve. Great food though, nice crab bisque, rack of ribs that went end to end on the platter style plate. Key Lime pie hit the spot too. Hence the reason I didn't eat too much at breakfast this morning.

Which y'all missed, two of the top grant minds in the country were at the same breakfast table....
