BC is a solid team. I just don't think they'll have the athleticism to fall back on like a lot of the SEC, Big 12, Pac 10 teams, etc. can.

VT's defense dominated that game all night (except the end of course)

I would not have a problem with Mizzou playing LSU for the title.

I hear that! I wish KU had played Oklahoma at some point so I had a better feeling on Mizzou's chances. What concerns me is MU beating KU and having to play OU again for the championship. I believe it'd be at OU since they beat the Tigers already?

How in the hell did KU and MU end up in the top five, anyway? I've seen it in basketball, but never football. Should be fun to watch things play out, though! Maybe Mizzou can actually move up to #3 in the BCS if they beat Kansas (I'll never be able to understand how that works, #5 leapfrogs #4 )

    GO TIGERS

All I know is that after an unlikely loss to Texas Tech, I'm desperately hoping for OU to do the same thing playing Oklahoma State. Please!!! Horn's get to go to the Big XII championship that way!

So how good was that Mizzou KU game? KU had me worried a little bit at the end. Can't wait to watch MU beat Oklahoma Next week. Missouri should have beat them the first game but it was at there place on homecoming none the less and Missouri made a couple of stupid play in the fourth. I donít see them loosing on neutral turf. But anything can happen.

I thought MU was going to throw the thing away! Was it me, or did they go into the "let's not lose" mode instead of keeping up the attack?

One thing does keep sticking in my head. MU had 14 penalties for 141 yards, Kansas only 2 for 26. WTF? I'm not one to point fingers at refs, but I saw a number of penalties that could have been called that weren't, or those that were questionable were flagged. Of course, I wouldn't want to risk a $10K fine for questioning the Big 12's officiating.

All-in-all, that was a fun game to watch! I had been questioning of KU was for real since they really haven't seen a lot of competition. K State and MU I think are the only ranked teams they've played. But, they showed themselves as a good team and I hope they make a good bowl, which I assume they should.

Now, let's see if the Tigers can keep from screwing themselves out of a win with OU next week. That's the only thing keeping them from playing for the championship that I can see.

Ya donít even get me started on the refs they were ridiculous they are the ones that should be fined. Missouri had not had the many penalties all season those zebras must have been KU fans the way they called the game. And even though I donít like KU they are a very good team and deserve to get to a BCS game. The thing with Missouri, is with there offence it is hard to just kill time off the clock so they have to do what they do best stay on the attack. But on the other hand it is a tough call, slinging the ball around like they do; you have a better chance for a turn over. I am glad I donít have to make the decisions like Pinkle does. I think they played a great game but I still donít think we have seen them play there best game. They have so many more weapons than people realize. It they are hitting on all cylinders they are unstoppable. I canít wait to watch them against Oklahoma then in the Championship if they play a perfect game next week.

Yeah, I'm just a fan of doing the things that got you the lead in the first place. Once you start playing conservative, you give the other team the opportunity to come back into the game. Your defense may be worn out and they can get a run, all the while your offense is playing conservative and trying to get a first down and blow the clock instead of getting points on the board and keeping a lead.

Oh wel, they got 'er done and got that elusive #1 in the BCS and ESPN rankings (WTF is wrong with USA Today? ). If nothing else, I can say I remember when Mizzou was the number one football team in the country! LOL

Sorry but Tim Tebow has the Heisman all wrapped up. 51 touchdowns is incredible.

If anything they will "give" it to Darren McFadden for his last game against LSU.

I'm a Boston College fan and Matt Ryan has a draft pick in his future, but I also think that WV has some potential.

I donít think Tim Tebow deserves the Heisman. Donít get me wrong he is a great player but he lost three games this year. And McFadden is also a great player but he only had two or three good games this year with the LSU game being his best all season. I think it should go to the best most consistent player. The only thing hurting chase is the loss to OU in which he really only play a bad fourth quarter. And also it doesnít help that he is only a Jr. And West Virginia is a great team if Missouri and WV win out it will be a good national championship game that I believe could go anyway. And Boston College played one of the best games I saw all season when they came back against Virginia Tech. Almost as good as when LSU lost last week and Mizzou beat KU.

USC lights up Illinois 49-17. OSU should be happy to be facing LSU in the BCS. They might have a chance against LSU, there would be none against the Trojans.
