I know someone who is interested in donating a fire truck to a needy fire department in New Jersey. He used to be a firefighter himself, but bought the truck for promoting his current business, so I assume he knows more than I what condition it is in (and obviously that it is worth putting back into active duty, since it was his idea). The attached picture is what the truck looked like when he bought it -- it's definitely been cleaned up since.
I've been searching around looking but all my searches seem to turn up people who already have trucks -- not people who need them. Does anyone either know somewhere that needs a truck, or a place that I should be looking for stations who need one?
I'd really appreciate any help you guys can provide!
Thanks.

The Fire Academies throughout New Jersey could always use a truck or an extra truck. They are, however, the basic training grounds for future firefighters like myself. The Ocean County Fire Academy had a truck donated to them and it's decent.

I think every firehouse has a truck or two :P
But those trucks might be out dated, and need to be replaced. That's what you have to find out. Which companies Engines (that's what it looked like in the pic) are old, and are obsolete. That's the search you need to do.
