City gets grant for rescue craft, cart

Longwood, FL - Longwood has been awarded a $19,225 grant from the Fireman's Fund Insurance Co.
J. Rolfe Davis Insurance in Longwood recommended the city for the Fireman's Fund Heritage grant.
The grant will be used to buy a water-rescue craft and emergency-transport cart.
The formal presentation will be made at the Sept. 17 Longwood City Commission meeting.
