A few years ago, I was asked by our local school district bus administrator to present a program to the entire county's bus drivers on first aid and handling emergencies on the bus.
The program was going to be presented several times throughout the day during a bus driver workshop. Class size was approximately 30 with a 45 - 60 minute time slot. I spent a lot of time looking for a program in the can or one to modify, but I did not find what I was looking for at the time.
I came up with a program that covered the basics of first aid, but focused on making sure that no matter what happened, the bus driver kept everyone else safe and called for help first. I thought that someone else might find the program useful or a good starting point for building something better, so I am releasing it to anyone who wants it.
Hope you might find it useful!
