    Default Instructor I Class

    The MABAS 8 Training Division is proud to present the following training opportunity:

    Presented by: Illinois Fire Service Institute
    Hosted by: Byron fire Dept.

    When: Dec 1-2, 8-9 & 15
    Time: 0800-1700
    Where: Byron Fire Dept
    123 North Franklin Street
    Byron, IL 61010

    Cost: $225.00 per student (make checks payable to MABAS division 8)
    Send payment with names of students to:

    Payment must be received no later than October 21.

    Register: on-line using IFSI web site.


    Cost of class includes all materials. Upon successful completion of class, students will receive IFSI certificate and NFA certificate. OSFM state exam will be administered at conclusion of class, and OSFM Instructor I certification will be awarded to all students meeting OSFM requirements


    We need a minimum of 30 students for this class. Please register early and pay by the deadline above.

    The fine state of IL at your service. We don't set the fees, the price is enough to break even from what the state charges to teach the class with 30 students attending...

    Some programs are free from the state, but the Fire Officer I classes are not.

    Could be worse, you could be taking it at the local community college and be paying more plus having to buy the book...
