has anyone had to deal with monoethynolamine, it is used to wash parts at our facility and i hear if not diluted it is pretty nasty stuff.

First, are you sure of the spelling, I am not finding anything on it online. Second, what is it used for?

did you mean Monoethanolamine? I found the chemical in the Emergency Response Guide Book, but not alot of info on it yet.

I think the correct spelling, for what you are looking for is, METHYLETHANOLAMINE.
It does not look like a trully nasty chemical, but it is bad. Here are soem hightligths of what I have on it from Cameo.
A clear colorless liquid. Flash point 165°F. Less dense than water and soluble in water. Vapors are heavier than air. Produces toxic oxides of nitrogen during combustion. Used to make other chemicals. (REACTIVITY, 2003)
Wear a respirator as it is an irritant to the respiratory tract.
Do not extinguish fire unless flow can be stopped. Solid streams of water may be ineffective. Use "alcohol" foam, dry chemical or carbon dioxide.
