I'm in need of some expert advice. The department golf tournament is just around the corner and I need to be prepared. I bought some clubs and a bag off Craig's list and now I'm confused. The bag came with all these pockets on the side. Other than a small beer stash- what are the rest for?![]()

LOL, tees, golf balls, umbrella, extra golf towel, bug spray, sunscreen are just a few of the things you'll find in my golf bag.

It seems to me if you had to ask that question, you are not exactly "prepared" for the tournament.
Won't there be snow on the ground up there in another two weeks or so?

Well George, them are some funky looking pockets, and I can't really see anything designed to fit into the stupid things!you are not exactly "prepared" for the tournament
Balls?-why not have a sewn sleeve or 2 that the balls can sit in a row like how you buy them.
Tees?-honestly, how many tee's do you need? A little pocket would be fine.
Shoes?-my hockey bag has a pocket for skates that actually looks like skates, is that to hard for golf shoes?
Now snow, can't come soon enough-summers over lets get to hunting, snowboarding, and ice fishing! My posts reflect my views and opinions, not the organization I work for or my IAFF local. Some of which they may not agree. I.A.C.O.J. member

Based on the sounds of things you will need at least 24 balls. When the ball is hit properly off the tee you will break the tee, sounds like you need 1. Since you will probably be in places you didn't know existed on the golf course you will need a change of clothes and probably some boots. It also sounds like you might be out there for a while so you will need to be prepared for a change of seasons. Additionally, bring some food, water, map and compass, just in case you get lost.
Hope this helps

With the way I play golf, I've got to stuff every pocket that doesn't have a beer in it with balls.
My personal best is 23 lost balls and one dead bird in one 18 hole round.
