Didn't want to take a picture of mine and put it on the site for all to see. Here is a link for the plate though.

CT has two firefighter plates, one for any active firefighter:

And another sponsored by the state union affiliate that's tied to supporting the state FirePAC:
"Nemo Plus Voluptatis Quam Nos Habant"
The Code is more what you'd call "guidelines" than actual rules.

Texas also has two plates. One for Paid Firefighters and one for Volunteer Firefighters.
This one is for us volunteers in Texas (with the seal of our firefighter certification authority, the State Firemens & Fire Marshals Association)!!!Just someone trying to help! (And by the way....Thanks for YOUR help!)
Aggressive does not have to equal stupid.

We also have an EMT/Paramedic tag, but to be perfectly honest I have never actually seen one on a vehicle before; lots have the FF tag, though, myself included...

I know in the early 80's when I worked for Rural/Metro we ran Civil Defence Tag's. I think the Emergency Tag's took it place.

Here's the Vermont plate. EMS plate substitutes in the Star of Life instead of the Maltese Cross....."The uniform you wear was given to you. The respect that comes with it must be earned."
