I am in need of some BLS procedures for a small FD with First Responder and EMT responders. I have a copy of state standards but was looking for some other area departments input.
Thanks,
Chris

Protocols and Procedures
I am also in need of BLS protocols. We are trying to license 1 ambulance to tranport our foster kids back and forth to MD appointments. No first responder, or actual emergency stuff needed except what we need to pass survey. Also I am not sure what all is required for stocking tha ambulance as I have never done this before. All of the kids are in one foster home and have pegs trachs, and some have ventilator support. This is not a public use ambulance and will be used for our kids only. We are licensing as a non-profit. Can anyone help me??

ADH Div. EMS & Trauma
Contact the Arkansas Department of Health Div. of EMS and Trauma. They have regulations for stretcher transport units, that are not considered an ambulance. To be concidered an ambulance you will be required at least 1 EMT on board as an 1B unit or special purpouse unit.
