Question to all part-time/volunteer FF's.

What is the hourly rate in your respective county/city? And is there a minimum amount of hours that they need to pay you for each call?

We are currently renegociating our contracts with the city, and we feel like we are not being paid enough. We have a 2-hour minimum policy, where all our next-door neibours get 3 . We are based out of Canada.

I would really like to get your thoughts on the subject. It would help us get a comparison with other fire departments. American, Canadian or any other fire services.
