"Cadets" are usually run in combination with highschools.
Students leave early and either go to the academy to take essentials and a few other courses, or EMT-B along with a few other courses. They are also asigned to a shift(we have 24 on 48 off so we have A,B,C shifts shift A is usually where cadets are put) where they ride along as pretty much glorrified observers/juniors.
