    Default french firefighters conference.

    once a year in France there is a conference for the firefighters.you can see some new trucks and there are also lectures about new tools or fire tactics.here is a link to see some pics of this conference and the trucks:

    i posted this link to see pics and then you can compare the trucks in France and the trucks you have in the USA.i think it could be interesting for you,as it is interesting for me when i look at the trucks you use in the US fire service.i'm a huge fan of the american firetrucks,so huge,specially TDA.

    Almost all of the trucks have a cab in front of wheels design. Looks like tight turning radius.

    Very nice.

    i think our trucks are really different,we use liters,you use gallons.but here the guys like their trucks.the firetrucks are smaller compared to yours but our roads are smaller too,lol.

    but here my step dad who is a POC ffer likes the engines they have at the station,very useful and you know pumps on the engine co are powerful like yours.

    but firecat1,if you have some numbers about your trucks,it is ok ,tell me.

    Hey, GFD? You would probably know more about those engine stats than I would (I just like powerful engines, don't do well on remembering size, torque and all that mechanical stuff)...could you cough up some of those numbers for FrenchFireBall please? Thnx!!!

    I don't have exact numbers because there are so many different types. We have some trucks with over 550 horse power that are almost to fast for some of our roads, but they pump 1500 gals. a minunte with a 1,000 gal tank. I'll try toget some exact numbers for you.
