I haven't done business with this particular vendor but the work appears to be good and the prices are reasonable...

Try Bob Stella Shields. Kevin (aka Fireman4949) uses them and they are beautiful.

He was (is) one of the better posters we have had.
I reckon the idiocy drove him away.....

Well, at least tonight I am!
Been taking a little "break", as it were. I figure it's about time I get back into the regular routine of reading and posting. Not that I have anything worthwhile to add necessarily, but it is fun, and I do miss you guys.
By the way, I can't say enough about Bob Stella's work...True artistry!

Thanks Brother!!!!! It's good to be back!
It was kinda funny. I called Bob a while back to order a new shield and he asked me what happened to the old one. When he said he could repaint the old one for me if I sent it to him, I knew were weren't on the same page. I sent him the pic, and he kinda agreed that it was past re-panting.
He wanted to put the pics on his site, so I wrote that little blurb for him.Fire Lieutenant/E.M.T.

Hows that Phenix working out for you? I had won an auction on an N6A on Ebay, but my Paypal account activation didn't go through in time to meet the payment deadline so now I'm kinda bummed. Plus, I saw a used Phenix go for 100 less than I was gonna pay for the N6A and that made it worse. Oh well, I guess I'll get a leather someday.
