Yesterday afternoon, Captain Marty Koch from the Northwood Fire Department (also the Senior Fire Marshall at Sunoco Refinery) was involved in a Motorcycle Crash in Toledo. Marty was transported by Lifesquad to St. Vincent's Mercy Medical Center with facial trauma.
Some folks saw him last night in the ER after it happened and some of us went up to visit him today. He's in pain right now and awaiting word when he will have surgery. They were still waiting for the plastic surgeon to come in.
Please keep him and his family in your prayers.

I'm sorry that I didn't see this earlier.
Both him and his family will be in my prayers.Just because it's called a throw bag, doesn't mean you throw the whole bag... you're supposed to hold onto the rope.

Marty was released from the hospital today. He will have a 6+ week recovery.....
